At 12 Church Street in central Mossel Bay, C&P Coffee Roasters has built a loyal following for its expertly roasted Arabica beans and quiet attention to detail. Whether you’re after an espresso, an Africano, a cold brew, or a Chai Latte, the focus here is on quality, consistency, care, and service with a smile.
But good coffee is just part of the story. Sustainability is central to how C&P operates. Biodegradable cups and straws are used for takeaways, and plastic use is kept to a minimum throughout the business. Used coffee grounds are composted and made available to anyone who needs them—whether for small farms, vegetable gardens, or home use. Surplus coffee is regularly donated to charities, places of worship, and other organisations in need of support.
Even packaging is approached with care: used coffee bags are turned into gift bags and donated to groups that can put them to use. These small, consistent choices reflect a wider commitment to reducing waste and giving back to the community in tangible ways.
We are grateful to call C&P Coffee Roasters a Hero of the Biosphere, taking their commitment to sustainability and community care to another level. Thank you to Taha and his team for their generous donation and continued support.
C&P’s approach to business is quiet, deliberate, and generous—one cup, one decision at a time.
