The Let’s Clean Barrydale project set out to clean up their town and provide residents with new bins to encourage locals and visitors alike to keep the town free of rubbish. Driven by a shared sense of responsibility and pride, locals swept streets, cleared riverbanks, and ensured that every corner of their beloved home was free from waste threatening the local ecosystem.
Thanks to a generous donation and the enthusiastic support of local businesses, volunteers were equipped with the tools they needed—pokers, reinforced gloves, skips and extra litter bins—to carry out their work safely and efficiently. The team acquired multiple bright-green bins, which were painted and adorned with uplifting messages to remind residents and visitors of the importance of keeping Barrydale clean.
Congratulations to everyone who rolled up their sleeves to make this project a resounding success!
